Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Palette
Long time no post! I'm back after a long time to review the Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Palette. This is a mini version of the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette. I recently got this for my birthday so I've been testing it out a lot this week! The travel palette doesn't have any new shades but a smaller selection from the full sized palette.

This retails for $22 at Sephora. It contains 8 neutral shades from browns to slightly grayer colors. It has 4 matte shades and 4 shimmer/glitter shades.
Packaging:
This was a lot smaller than I expected. I would say that the whole palette is about the size of a credit card. The packaging is made out of plastic so it's easy to clean and doesn't leave a lot of fingerprints like some other palettes. It snaps closed and has a decent sized mirror inside. It's very slim and minimal packaging.
Color/Longevity:
The swatches go in the same order as their placement in the palette except the matte shades are on the top row and the shimmer/glitter shades are on the bottom row. All of the colors swatched really well. The swatches shown above are only one swipe. They're all very opaque and pigmented. The matte shades are really nice and blend out very well on the eyelids. The shimmer/glitter shades are also really pretty on the eyelids. I always use a primer with eyeshadow because I have really oily eyelids and they lasted all day with no creasing. The only really shimmery/glittery shade is the second champagne colored eyeshadow as you can see. All the rest have just a nice shimmer. They look super glittery in the pan but they're not like that when swatched.
I was really impressed with the blendability of these eyeshadows and I didn't have any creasing problems which is always a plus! The only thing I would say is that I feel like these eyeshadows are really delicate if that's the right word. As you can see in the packaging picture it gets kind of messy. That because every time you use the palette it kicks up a lot of product. I guess I would say the product is a little crumbly and soft. I think that's just something to expect from such soft, creamy eyeshadows though.

Pros/Cons:
Pros:
Cons:
- good pigmentation
- travel friendly
- very wearable/nice shade selection for everyday
- blendable
- doesn't crease
Cons:
- packaging gets messy
- not sure if it's worth the price for the amount of product
Final Thoughts:
Overall I think this is a good palette. It's nothing ground breaking but it's also really good quality. I was disappointed with the small size especially since you're paying $22 for the palette which is by no means cheap for eyeshadow. I was expecting it to be around the size of the Naked Basics palettes from Urban Decay but it's the size of a credit card. This means you're not getting as much product for the price.
I would say if you have the extra money to spend you should just get the full size Exposure palette because it's more worth the money in my opinion. If you are only looking to spend around $20 and want shimmer and matte shades I think this would be a good option though. Otherwise you might want to check out the Naked Basics palette for all mattes.
It's a good product and I'm not disappointed with the quality but I just wish it was bigger and less messy.
