It's easily blended before the product sets. Because this is a sort of liquid type product, once it sets it won't budge so work quickly! I did notice that if you try to blend the product after it dries the product will start to just rub off your eyelids instead of blending more. If you blend before it dries though it blends very nicely. It feels really cool when first applied as well.
This product claims to last up to 8 hours without creasing. I have very oily eyelids and do not use a primer with this product and it lasts very well. After a whole day wearing just this product I would say there was very little creasing and the color was slightly faded but still present. Overall, the longevity is very good for not using a primer or eyeshadow to set the product.
The product goes on like a liquid but once blended it really sets and isn't sticky or wet.
This product claimed to be waterproof on Rimmel's website though and I would have to strongly disagree with this claim. Although the product is very long lasting, as soon as I put my hand under water it wiped off cleanly. I didn't even have to scrub or use any type of soap or cleanser to remove the product. If you're looking for a waterproof eyeshadow this might not be the right product.
- long lasting
- doesn't crease
- very inexpensive
- unique texture/formula
- can be pigmented or sheerer out
- nice packaging
- need to blend very quickly before it sets
- rubs off eyes completely after sets
- not waterproof like claims
- color doesn't show up exactly like what you would expect
If you're looking for a cream type eyeshadow for the hotter seasons I would definitely recommend this product. Also, if you enjoy metallic or shimmery eyeshadows then this would be a great product for you.
If you prefer matte eyeshadow or dislike cream type products then this might not work out for you. It is very shimmery and metallic. I would instead recommend the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Leathers for a more matte, cream type eyeshadow. I haven't tried the leather line specifically, but I've heard good reviews and I own some of the original Color Tattoo eyeshadows.
Overall it's a good product but make sure you blend quickly otherwise it will just rub off your eyes!
