If you're curious about what I've been loving for the month of November click to read more!
November went by really quickly! It seems like it was Halloween a few days ago! I'm really excited for December though because of the holidays obviously, but I'm also excited to go back home for the break. I have to get through finals first though ಥ_ಥ
Initially I disliked the Hera cushion because it was sort of dry and not super natural on the skin so using the spray really helps hydrate the skin and give that perfected look. It gives a similar effect to that of a damp beauty blender or damp sponge.
First is the L'oreal Infallible Eyeliner. It's a pencil type eyeliner, not to be mistaken with L'oreal's liquid infallible eyeliner. I find that it's usually very difficult to get a thin, sharp line with a pencil which is why I bought this twist up pencil. It's thin so it's not as difficult to get a thin line than a regular pencil and you don't have to constantly clean a brush like with gel eyeliners.
Tip: If you're having problems getting a precise wing with pencil eyeliners hold the pencil parallel to your eyes and draw on the wing with the side of the pencil.
I've also been loving the Tarte Amazonian Clay Cream Eyeshadow (review here). I use it as an inner corner highlight and it's absolutely gorgeous. It's really shiny and stays all day because it's waterproof.
Finally, the Milani Eyeshadow Primer is a real gem from the drugstore. It comes in a squeeze tube and you apply a tiny bit to your eyelids and wait 30 seconds before doing your eye makeup. It's important to wait that 30 seconds otherwise your eyeshadow will look funky. I usually put the eye primer on, do the rest of my face and then do the eyeshadow at the end. It keeps my eyeshadow on all day without any creasing which is impressive with my oily eyelids.
