I recently hauled a few of the Maybelline Color Whispers from Target. I had one previously and decided to do a haul with all of the new shades I got!
These were released awhile ago and provide a sheer wash of glossy color. Maybelline claims that these Color Whispers provide a gel-like, weightless finish to the lips with no heavy waxes or oils.

There are 20 shades on Maybelline's website and they range from nudes to brights so I think there's a color for anyone's preferences.
Packaging:
The outside lid color corresponds to the color of the lipstick. I will say that the outside lid is slightly different than the color of the product so you should probably read some reviews and see swatches of the color you were thinking of getting to make sure it's the right shade.
There's also no seal on the product. This means when you buy it in the store you really have to make sure no one has opened it before you purchase it. I'm always paranoid with accidentally buying a product someone's used at drugstores. This problem would easily be fixed if we had testers in our drugstores...
Anyways, the lipstick bullet is a lot thinner than regular lipsticks but I think that allows for easier application. Overall, the packaging is really sleek and pretty in my opinion.

Color Pigmentation:
I have the colors Who Wore it Red-er, Berry Ready, and Pin Up Peach. I've had Pin Up Peach the longest and I recently purchased the other two shades from Target.
Just like the claims these give a nice, glossy finish to the lips and they are very gel-like. When I wear this product there is no need for a gloss on top. Who Wore it Red-er is more of a pinky red color and Berry Ready is more of a red with a slight berry tone. Pin UP Peach is the sheerest formula and it's a nice peach color with a slight shimmer.
Berry Ready and Who Wore it Red-er are a lot more pigmented than I expected and Pin up Peach is more of a 'my lips but better' shade.
Because these have a glossier finish, the wear time isn't very long. I would say that these last for maybe 2-3 hours but the darker colors might leave a slight stain behind on the lips. If you have dry, flaky lips make sure you exfoliate your lips before. I've found that these do cling to dry patches on your lips and will make them stand out.

Pros/Cons:
Pros:
Cons:
- glossy finish like it claims
- gorgeous packaging
- inexpensive
- no scent
- feels like a lip balm on lips
- non sticky
- doesn't bleed outside of lips
Cons:
- doesn't wear for a long time
- clings to dry flakes on lips
Final Thoughts:
Overall I really like these lip products. I love the packaging and the formula on the lips but I do wish they wore longer on the lips. I don't know if I would repurchase these though just because I love lip products and am always wanting to try different products. I usually go for lip stains and tints because I hate reapplying and worrying about my lip products and these don't have the best wear time like I mentioned.
If you're looking for a glossy lip product that isn't super pigmented these will be perfect for you. If you're looking to try a bold, bright lip but are a little hesitant these will also be a great transition product for you.
If you want a matte or completely opaque product then these might not be for you.
