Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I'm back with another review for the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask! I initially posted this in my Christmas post back in December. Sorry it's taken so long to start reviewing those products, I've been really busy with school...I'll try to start writing more reviews soon though!
Anyways, if you're curious about my thoughts on this product, click to read more!

I'm sure most of you have heard about this product before because it's one of Laneige's most famous products. You can even purchase this at Target now for $23. Keep in mind that this is the original version, not the EX version.
This product is a gel type mask that you apply after your usual night time skincare and leave it on while you sleep. You wash it off in the morning with water and it's supposed to hydrate and rejuvenate your skin!

Packaging:
The packaging is really simple and chic. It's made out of a thick plastic and it has kind of a double layer. The inside layer of plastic is the nice blue color and the second layer is clear which gives it a more classy feel. It also comes with a little spatula which helps keep the product hygienic.
Product:
The mask has a light blue color in the packaging but once applied to the face it turns into a clear, water like consistency. It also has a floral scent so if fragrances irritate your skin you may want to avoid this product.
It spreads on the face very smoothly and easily, it really glides onto the skin. You only need a small amount to cover your whole face, I usually use about a dime sized amount for my whole face. Once applied, you'll look like you have water on your face but this quickly absorbs after a minute or two and there will be no residue. This is nice because the product won't transfer onto your bed at night.
I haven't noticed any significant results from this product though. When I wake up in the morning my face is smooth and hydrated but there haven't been any dramatic improvements to my skin after using this for two months. It does a decent job at providing moisture, but nothing dramatic. I would say it's comparable to a night moisturizer.

Pros/Cons:
Pros:
Cons:
- packaging
- absorbs quickly
- scent (may be a con for some)
- doesn't transfer onto my pillow
- easy to spread on face
Cons:
- only decent hydration
- no significant changes to my skin
Final Thoughts:
I don't think I would repurchase this product. I will enjoy using this product until it runs out but after that I will probably try a different brand. Overall I think that this is a decent product; I don't love it but I don't hate it. It does a decent job at hydrating my face but it's nothing spectacular.
If you have really dry skin this might not work for you, you might want to try the EX version but I haven't personally tried it so I can't attest to the results. If you have oily skin and just want a little boost to your skincare routine this might work well.
Overall, this is a decent product, but nothing life changing. If you don't need extreme hydration and have been thinking about trying this product out I would say to try it, it's not a bad mask, it's just not incredible.
