Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion #23 Natural Beige
If you want to hear my thoughts, keep reading!
This product has an SPF of 34/PA++ and contains 15g of product, and doesn't come with a refill. This product claims to be a winter cushion that will provide non-drying moisture for a long time. It gives a bright look to the skin that also adheres to the skin well for a no-smudging and natural look.
We'll see if this product lives up to the claims!
Packaging:
Refills for other cushion foundations like Hera, Laneige, Etude House, etc. won't fit in this compact either which is a downside for cushion lovers. The refill system is different for this packaging as well. Usually you just push on the bottom and it comes out, but for this one I don't even know how to get the refill out which is a problem if I ever run out. I've been trying to take the case apart but I'm scared I'll break it ><
Color/Longevity/Consistency:
Like I said before I have shade #23. I would say it matches my skin well right now, but I'm pale from the winter time. As you can see from the swatches there's not much difference in the before and after and that's because the color matches me really well. I would say it's a touch lighter than my skin though but that's normal for Korean base products.
I would say this product lasts for a moderate time maybe 4-6 hours. The formula is really sheer, light to medium coverage, which is why it doesn't last for a super long time. It wears off nicely though because it's so sheer. I would say if you have a lot to cover like acne scars and really uneven skintone this product wouldn't do much for you. It doesn't cover my acne scars at all but it does slightly even out my skin.
It has a really natural finish. I expected it to be way too glowy and sticky for my oily skin but this product gives a natural glow to the face, nothing super unnatural. It feels weightless on my skin and doesn't leave a really tacky feeling. You may want to set with a powder if you're really oily though. It also didn't cling to my dry patches.
Pros:
- natural finish
- has SPF
- color matches well
- packaging is minimalistic
- subtle floral scent
- doesn't look cakey
Cons:
- isn't compatible with other cushion foundations
- doesn't come with a refill/don't know how to refill
- little to no coverage
Final Thoughts:
If you have really good skin and are just looking to even out your skin slightly or add glow, this would be good for you. Also, if you usually use a full coverage concealer anyways and are just looking for a sheer product for the rest of your face this might also be nice.
If you're looking for a one stop shop kind of product, this isn't going to be what you're looking for because it's not going to cover everything.
Overall I thought it was a nice product, I think the formula is nice, I just wish it had better coverage.
