Aritaum Modi Juicy Nails #50 Lovely Blossom
I'm back with another review finally! I feel like it's been a really long time since I've done a review. The holidays certainly took up a lot of my time in December but I'm back with a lot of products to review for everyone! My first review of the new year is going to be on an Aritaum nail polish.

I've heard a lot of things about the Aritaum Modi line so I was really excited to try this nail polish out! It was about $5 from jolse.com. This isn't a sponsored post, I just like to get most of my Korean beauty products from there because they have free shipping!
This nail polish claims to be a transparent textured nail polish to give a really juicy look to the nails.

This is how the nail polish looked when I first applied it. It took three coats to get to this opacity. One coat was very sheer and a second coat was satisfactory but you could still faintly see my nails through the polish. I like the finish it has with three coats. I'm not docking the polish any points for transparency because that's what it claims to be. I think the transparency gives it a really pretty, juicy finish like the name suggests. I also used a top coat like I would with any polish.
This is the polish after a week of wear. As you can see it started chipping on some fingers. I found that towards the end of the week parts of the polish started peeling off in large chunks. The color also was not as vibrant as when I initially applied it. After my showers I noticed that the water seeped in between the nail polish and my nails which caused it too have a duller color.
Final Thoughts:
This nail polish is...okay. It's nothing special in terms of formula and although it lasted for a majority of the week I wasn't thrilled with it peeling off my nails. Also, when I removed the nail polish, it left my nails very dry and damaged, a result I don't normally experience with my other nail polishes. I don't think I will be purchasing any more shades in the line but I will definitely continue to use this polish up. When I reapplied the polish I found that it started peeling off my nails the next day. This may have something to do with my nails or my application process, I'm not sure, but it's definitely a hassle for my nail polish to be peeling off my nails.
Overall, if you're someone who changes up your nail polish every week or so, and you like a sheerer nail polish I think this may be an okay option for you to try. Especially because it's not very expensive.
If you're someone who doesn't like fussing over their nails then this may not be for you.
Overall it's an okay nail polish but there's definitely better ones on the market for around the same price.
